This couple and their wedding was a little different for us and new territory, but we were up for the challenge. We were so honored to be chosen to photograph this Bride and Groom’s wedding at Beth El Congregation Synagogue in Phoenix, AZ. For Joceline and I both, this was our first Jewish Wedding to photograph.

For this couple, we actually did a separate location with bride and groom photos, so those were photogarphed at Manistee Ranch in Glendale, Arizona.

The wedding included a lot of different traditions and we loved being a part and experiencing this ‘different to us wedding’ from the Bedeken, Ketubah signing, ceremony, and then the reception – it was an eventful day!

The most fun part of the whole day was definitely the reception. The traditional dances in the beginning were so fun to photograph. There was no chair lifting at this wedding, as the bride and groom didn’t want to do that. But the energy in the room was amazing during the first traditional group dance!

My absolute favorite thing was at the very end, when the ceremonies and reception had come to a close, the groom and bride wanted their own private dance. It was no music because the groom sang silently while dancing to his bride. So special.

Details of the special day are below.
