I love to kick off AZ fall season with being on the farm in Buckeye with the Sunflower fields. This little slice of paradise is one of the places that I take a lot of families to in October. The sunflowers are only around for 2 weeks or so. I’m usually taking well over 50 families to the farm and usually pre-sale slots for having photos on the farm. I’m so glad that Rocker 7 Farm shares their space with photographers letting us capture family photos.

If you get the chance to snag sunflower photos on the farm with me, here are some tips.

The farm can be muddy or dusty so wear shoes you don’t mind getting dirty. Bring a blanket if you don’t want to get your clothes dirty (although usually the dust just brushes off), because we get down low to the sit to get those sunflowers sometimes. Unfortunately, no pets are allowed on the farm. Be prepared to just walk around the farm after as they have pumpkins and all other kinds of things your child is going to want to see!

This was the second year in a row I got to capture this family and I absolutely loved playing with the boys and their family on the farm. Boys will be boys and we got a lot of those photos of them just running through the sunflower fields. Loved it!
