I love that we got to photograph at this guy’s favorite place for his senior photos. He really loves Phoenix Raceway. It’s kind of an important thing that he has done for a while with his family, going to see the races.  When mom asked me about photographing there, I was up for the challenge of not knowing the space. We got permission and it turned out fantastic.

We also incorporated his baseball shirt and his cap and gown. Then I saw some dead trees across the area nearby that I really wanted to photograph him near. I just thought they looked cool. I absolutely love exploring new places with this guy. This location was fun to have him at!

Meeting seniors is so much fun. This is the time in their life they have accomplished something and are usually looking forward to what is ahead. So I love learning all about it with asking them what’s next. Maybe they are going to college or trade school. Or maybe they are planning on taking a year to explore their interests or travel. Either way, it’s really great chatting with them and learning about them during our time together.
