Gary & Amanda met on the ball field. Gary grew up at Victory Lane Sports Park in Glendale, AZ. His first job was there was at the sports park. His dad worked there for over 20 years. So this ball field was like home to him. Then he met Amanda there at the very same field. They both play softball. So what better than to have this meaningful location to say “I do.”
It was so much fun capturing these two and their wedding day photos and love story. You can tell that they have a love for the sport, children, and each other. While this isn’t a popular wedding venue location, it was certainly different and unique and not something you see for every wedding. The bottom line is, the wedding day is your day. It’s a day to celebrate you as a couple and why not celebrate it at the place you met and that has big significance in your families life.
The biggest thing she will remember that day is seeing her groom standing at home plate. There was so much significance on their special day. And what bride can say she had a limo escort her out onto the ball field? That was actually pretty cool.
Weddings like this share a uniqueness and are a bit more fun because it is so untraditional. That’s what makes it even more fun behind the lens!
