I was in heaven at this Prescott, AZ lake. Granite Basin Lake is so significant for this family and it was so gorgeous to capture photos at. And during August, the wildflowers were in full swing up north!

Dad proposed to mom at this very location. Fifteen years ago, they were married at this same exact location. And now, they have their own family and brought their kids to do family photos here. This is so so so special.

Not going to lie, this family session really came easy for capturing family photos. I would tell them to walk here, dance with the kids there, and it just all flowed so smoothly. The hour time spot went by so quickly and fast because we were having so much fun.

I was literally driving away with so much gratitude after getting to photograph this family here during Golden Hour. I love when you want to take me up North and to special places. As a photographer, I thrive at different places for sure!

Prescott, Arizona is definitely a little treasure I want to share with others. I can envision more families or couples here at this spot. I will certainly remember August.
