Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life. It’s the start of your new chapter as a couple, the beginning of your shared journey, and a celebration of the love you’ve found. But, as beautiful and exciting as that day is, it can also be overwhelming and chaotic. Between the nerves, the details, the guests, and the rush of it all, you might miss some of the most intimate moments…the fleeting glances, the laughter, the tears, and the joy that fills the air. That’s where your wedding photos come in.
For me, the importance of wedding photos became personal after my own wedding. Here’s a little back story for you. Back in 2002, my mother hired a photographer for $300. Well, you get what you pay for, right? Needless to say, none of my wedding photos were worthy of being displayed on the walls of our home, and I was devastated. This was the biggest day of our lives, the start of everything. It was celebrating our new life as husband and wife, the beginning of a family, and the moment we began this incredible journey together. To look back and not have those moments captured was such a disappointment, and it drives me to this day to ensure I give my couples high-quality wedding photos.
When the flowers are gone, the guests have left, and the venue is cleaned up, your wedding photos are all you have left to hold onto, to remember, and to cherish. Years down the road, maybe every anniversary, you’ll pull out your wedding photos and relive the joy, the excitement, and the love from that day. Those photos are the memories that never fade. They’re the most important keepsake from your wedding, one that will last a lifetime.

How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer?
As soon as you know you want me there! Wedding dates can book well in advance, especially during Arizona’s busiest wedding seasons. Your date is officially reserved once your contract is signed and your non-refundable retainer is paid, so you don’t need to have your entire wedding day planned before reaching out.
How do we know how many hours of wedding photography we need?
It really depends on what parts of your wedding day you want photographed. Some couples only need coverage for the most important parts of the day, while others want the story documented from getting ready through the reception. We’ll talk through what matters most to you and your wedding timeline so you can choose the amount of coverage that makes sense for your day.
Will you help us with our wedding photography timeline?
Absolutely. You don’t have to figure out when every photo should happen on your own. I’ll help you plan the photography portion of your timeline so we have enough time for the moments that matter without making your wedding day feel like one long photoshoot. I also build in breathing room whenever possible because wedding days rarely run exactly according to plan.
Do you photograph weddings outside of Phoenix?
Yes! I photograph weddings throughout Arizona and travel for weddings outside the state as well. If your wedding requires travel, reach out with your date and location so we can go over the details together.
