You know, I’ve been to this home in Buckeye, AZ for newborn photos before. Actually, it’s my second time around. This family has been with Memories by Candace since their very first pregnancy announcement photos over 4 years ago. We’ve captured countless moments together – from maternity to family shoots and beyond. Fun fact: this is actually the family of my associate photographer. They’ve been trusting me to capture their precious moments long before my associate joined the team. It’s pretty special – Joceline, my associate, has been recommending me to family because we go way back.

What I really love about my job is that unlike many businesses trying to figure out their customers’ pain points, photography is different. My clients come to me in times of joy and celebration. They don’t have a problem to solve; they just want to preserve beautiful memories. Take this recent shoot, for example. We were celebrating the arrival of Theodore, a darling baby boy. His entrance into the world wasn’t without a few hurdles; he had to spend some extra time in the hospital’s NICU and had a feeding tube. But now he’s home safe and sound, and his big sister Charlotte, who’s almost 3, couldn’t be prouder!
