Imagine this: Yulissa and Jonah, two lovebirds who’ve already walked down the aisle, decided to keep the romantic flame burning bright by commemorating their 2-year wedding anniversary. But they didn’t settle for just any ordinary celebration; they went all out!

Downtown Phoenix, with its urban charm and vibrant atmosphere, became the canvas for their celebration. They dressed to impress, looking like a couple straight out of a fairytale. The anticipation was palpable as they got cozy, cuddling up together, the warmth of their love radiating through the chilly night air.

And then, the pièce de résistance – the champagne cork popped, filling the night with effervescent joy. 🍾 The clinking of glasses and shared laughter punctuated the celebration, making it feel like a true party.

So, when Yulissa and Jonah first approached me, they had their hearts set on a downtown bar for their photoshoot. I could totally understand the appeal of that urban vibe, especially for a couple celebrating their 2-year wedding anniversary. However, I also knew that trying to arrange a shoot in a busy downtown bar on a Saturday night might be quite the challenge.

Still, I’m all about making my clients’ dreams come true, so I gave them the green light to explore the possibility. I wanted to give them a fair shot at getting the shots they had envisioned.

They did their best, but alas, it just didn’t work out in their favor. Sometimes, logistics can be a tough nut to crack, right?

But fear not, I wasn’t about to let this bump in the road ruin the celebration. I put on my thinking cap and suggested an alternative – the rooftop garage. And wouldn’t you know it, this spot came complete with a rooftop elevator, which I had a hunch they’d love.

And you know what? It turned out to be an absolutely fantastic choice for their evening celebration. The cityscape views, the atmosphere, and that touch of adventure with the elevator added a whole new level of magic to their shoot.

In the end, it just goes to show that in the world of photography, as in life, sometimes Plan B can turn out to be even more amazing than Plan A. Joceline did absolutely fantastic at photographing this moment!
