I love when a family calls me out to a different location. In this case, it was a family ranch in Wittman, AZ. Wittman is an unicorporated city in Maricopa County and has a population of around 800 people. So as you can imagine, it’s very rural. It truly feels like you are living in the wild wild west there with a lot of ranches and horses. My favorite part of the session was getting the horse stalls in the background as it was just different and it truly gave us that wild west vibe in the desert. Of course, getting some of the animals in were fun as well. I loved all the turquoise and pops of red out in the desert that the family chose to wear for their family photos as well!
This is the second time I have captured this family. They actually don’t live in Arizona. They have property here and actually live in Washington. They own Anderson Hay Company there selling Timothy and Alfalfa Hay. This is a true ranch family and I love learning each family’s story when I photograph them.
