Hey friends! So, let me tell you about this little hidden treasure I stumbled upon, thanks to this young teen talking with her friends, in Gilbert. It’s not the typical spot at the Riparian Preserve that you’d find on your GPS – it’s a bit more off the beaten path. But oh, it’s a photographer’s dream! Why, you ask? Well, no crowds for starters. Imagine a serene haven with lush green trees and calming water – the perfect backdrop for an essential senior session.
And speaking of essential senior sessions, I’m excited to share all the photos from my recent shoot there. It gives a glimpse into the magic of capturing those essential moments. We’re talking about around 20 amazing images for Illiana, who, by the way, is the cheer captain at Paradise Honors in Surprise, Arizona. Despite being described as an introvert, she’s got this incredible drive that shines through.
Now, let me share a bit about Illiana’s family. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing them before, even doing her mom and dad’s headshots. Turns out, they’re realtors in the Phoenix area, so it’s always a blast working with them. Illiana is the baby of 6 kids. She is the last one that mom and dad are seeing graduate from high school. This has to be an amazing experience watching 6 kids start to fly on their own. And if you can tell from the photos, she plans on attending Arizona State University in the fall. Illiana made the trek to Gilbert for a short and sweet session with me, showcasing her go-with-the-flow attitude and, might I add, super pretty looks that translated beautifully in front of the camera.
