As a Phoenix Family Photographer, I love when fall rolls around. While the weather might not bring the crispness of changing leaves like in other places, we can still find these gorgeous pockets of greenery that make it feel like we’re stepping into a hidden world right in the middle of the desert. The family—mom, dad, and their two lovely daughters —brought such a warm energy that perfectly matched the cozy vibe of fall. Mom had a clear vision in mind: she wanted the perfect family portrait to feature on their dining room wall. I knew Granada Park would be the ideal setting to bring her vision to life, with its lush greenery and peaceful atmosphere.
Winston, their charming poodle, added an extra layer of fun to the session. He was so charming. And I got him to look every time! It’s always heartwarming when pets are included in sessions—after all, they’re such an important part of the family. The girls had so much fun with Winston, making for some candid and playful moments that really highlighted their bond as siblings.
