When pet owners Lexi and Travis told me they had seven dogs and asked if I would be comfortable with that, I was immediately up for the challenge. I’ve photographed plenty of dogs before, but I realized during our chat that I didn’t have any dog photos on my website. This session was not only an exciting opportunity to work with seven dogs at once but also a chance to showcase these adorable pups on my site and highlight my skills in pet photography in Phoenix.

Travis and Lexi had told me they had never been able to capture a photo of all the dogs together, and while it was definitely difficult, we achieved it. Can you imagine the challenge of photographing seven dogs together? I was super proud of what we were able to accomplish. In almost every single group photo, all the dogs were looking at me! I even saved the raw photos and posted a reel on social media as proof. It was incredible how smoothly everything went! I honestly didn’t expect it to go as smoothly with 7 dogs.

The couple also wanted individual shots of their fur babies, so we made sure to capture plenty of those too. One of their little ones was pretty anxious around other people, so they had never been able to get an individual photo of her either. But guess what – I got more of her than any other dog in that bunch. Just call me the dog whisperer!

This wasn’t just a family session; Lexi and Travis also had something special to celebrate. They had just adopted a new dog, Elden John – isn’t that the cutest name? We did some adoption announcement photos to commemorate the occasion.
