This family session at the Riparian Preserve at Gilbert Regional Park was nothing short of magical. As a Phoenix Family Photographer, I love traveling to beautiful locations like this, even though we don’t experience a traditional fall in Arizona during September. The golden hour sunlight streaming through the green trees felt like we were surrounded by the warm hues of autumn, creating a stunning scene for family photos.
I often remind my clients that as a family photographer based in Phoenix, we’re fortunate to have access to diverse landscapes across the Valley. Whether it’s lush parks like Riparian Preserve in Gilbert or other scenic spots around Phoenix, I’m always scouting new locations that offer something unique.
The family showed up in beautiful neutral tones of cream and black, which made the editing process smooth and effortless. As a Phoenix photographer, I love capturing sessions where the family’s wardrobe harmonizes with the natural setting, allowing the focus to stay on their expressions and connection.
Originally, we planned this session for a Friday, but a flat tire on my drive from Phoenix forced us to reschedule. Thankfully, we were able to fit the session in on Saturday evening, and it ended up being one of my favorite family shoots of the season. The family’s kindness and understanding made everything run smoothly, and I was so grateful to capture their special moments.
Whether it’s at the Riparian Preserve or other beautiful spots around the Phoenix area, being a Phoenix Family Photographer means having the privilege of working with incredible families and creating lasting memories for them. This session is definitely one I’ll cherish, and I’m so excited to share it with you.
