I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this family for 3 years now. This time we did family photography at Sahuaro Ranch Park in Glendale, Arizona. If you haven’t been there, it’s a historical ranch with all kinds of building to walk around and home of the peacocks as well. Yes, there are literally peacocks and chickens walking around the park with you. You really can’t go to the park without seeing the peacocks spread their feathers. A lot of families love to see that if they haven’t been there before. Hint: It may be a good bribe for younger kids to take photos so they can see the peacocks after.
There is always one pose that we do with mom and the kids every year, and this year we had to modify it because the kids have grown so much. It used to be daughter on the hip and big brother on mom’s shoulders. But now we had to move it to big brother on the back and daughter on the leg. Ha! But I love recreations of photos year after year.
This is always such a fun easy family to photograph. They like to get some posed photos but then love the goofy ones too.
