When I was asked to photograph engagement photos for this couple, I was ecstatic. The truth is, I have always wanted to photograph at this beautiful Surprise, AZ location in the West Valley. I have driven past this green area many times. It’s so beautiful at the Sterling Grove Golf and Country Club. Not only is there green, but there are the beautiful White Tank Mountains in the background as well. And this couple, Joe and Elisha, made it even more stunning.

Joe has a big career in golf, so it is only fitting that the course was also in our background for some of these photos. And the couple just bought a house in Sterling Grove in Surprise, AZ so this photo session really had a lot of meaning!

Joe and Elisha met while playing pickle ball, which is also why at the end of our engagement couple photos, we captured them on the pickle ball court. They were the cutest. I love significant couple photos such as these.

When you really want your engagement session to stand out, it’s so great to have something that is significant to you and your partner such as a first date, where you first met, where they proposed, or even a hobby that you like to do together. In this case, I felt like there was so much significance with this couple. They were beautiful and we got a lot of genuine laughs and many times during our session, Joe was telling his girl she was hot. She told me after that Joe was sort of with that dreading attitude, but he actually had a really fun time and they LOVED the photos!
