When Justin and Jeff reached out about their engagement session, I knew right away this was going to be something special. They met back in 2019, and when the world slowed down in 2020, the Tempe Center for the Arts and surrounding area became an important place for them. With one of them living in an apartment nearby, they spent countless hours walking, talking, and deepening their connection along these very paths. It only made sense that we would return here for their Tempe engagement photos.
The Tempe Center for the Arts couldn’t have been a more fitting backdrop. Not only does it reflect their shared love of art ( as they are both as admirers and creators of their own), but it also carries memories of a season in their lives where time slowed down and togetherness meant everything.
Jeff works in data analytics, and Justin has built his own company from the ground up, but what they truly love is traveling together and experiencing art in all its forms. That energy came through so beautifully in their session. As a Tempe engagement photographer, I loved capturing the clean architecture of the Center for the Arts before moving toward the water as the sun began to set. The bridges glowed in the evening light, giving us the perfect backdrop for those golden, romantic moments.
Photographing Justin and Jeff was such a joy. Their session was filled with artistic vibes, laughter, and a love that was easy to see in every frame. I feel so honored that I also get to capture their wedding day in Sedona at a brewery, a celebration I know will be every bit as unique and meaningful as their engagement session.
