As a Phoenix wedding photographer, it’s an honor to capture love stories that reflect not just the beauty of a wedding day but also the unique journeys of each couple. Dez and Tiffany’s wedding at The Willow in Surprise, AZ, was one of those unforgettable celebrations. Their day was filled with laughter, joy, and the deep connection they share with each other and their loved ones.
A Love Rooted in Adventure
Dez and Tiffany’s story is one of spontaneity and shared passions. Together, they’ve built a life of adventure…whether it’s traveling, road trips, trying new restaurants, or spending time outdoors camping or at the lake. Their wedding reflected that same spirit of connection and togetherness. Surrounded by their children, family, and friends, their big day was a celebration of not only their love but also the beautiful community they’ve built together.
The Perfect Venue
The Willow in Surprise, AZ, was the ideal setting for their wedding. Its rustic charm and serene atmosphere were the perfect backdrop for the heartfelt moments that unfolded. From the intimate ceremony to the joyous reception, every detail of the day seemed to echo Dez and Tiffany’s adventurous yet grounded personalities.
A Photographer’s Joy
I’ve been lucky enough to document this beautiful couple’s journey, starting with their engagement photos. Something unique stood out to me during both their engagement session and wedding day was that Dez’s legendary “RBF” (resting bitch face) was nowhere to be found. Instead, her smiles were radiant, and her joy was palpable. I don’t think I ever got to see this legendary face that everyone talked about, even Tiffany.
At the wedding, when I shared this observation, Dez and her sister responded with something that touched my heart deeply: “You don’t see it because you are so joyous to be around. Your vibe and energy are hard not to smile at.” It was one of those moments as a photographer that really touched me so deeply…it was my own goals coming to fruition….to create an atmosphere where my clients feel at ease, free to be their authentic selves.
