You can never go wrong in the desert for maternity photos. Our Arizona beauty is just that…gorgeous. So I met this couple out in the Sonoran Desert at Apache Wash Trailhead in Northern Phoenix.

Do you believe in fate? Would you believe that both this man and woman are from Illinois and didn’t meet until moving out here to Arizona? How crazy is that!!! Both of their families are not even that far from each other and where they grow up. Small small world I tell you! And now here they are about to be first time parents! They will actually be moving back to Illinois once the baby is born and I totally get that, having family around is important when first having a baby. It was even more important to showcase the beautiful of Arizona in their photos. And Apache Wash Trailhead didn’t disappoint and I love the look we got. It was golden hour, but quite cloudy on this day, in fact, we had our fingers crossed the session would happen the whole week as we had rain the week of. But with those clouds and sun, it certainly gave the sky a beautiful look.
