Hey there! Let me tell you about an amazing little adventure I had recently. In the Phoenix area, wheat fields are a rare gem, popping up just once a year. For this golden opportunity, we make our way out to Buckeye, AZ. Tucked away in the countryside on a charming farm, Sweet Flower Home lets us roam their beautiful wheat fields for a small fee in May. I get so excited every time!

Now, here’s the cool part—the wheat fields in Buckeye have two distinct looks depending on when you catch it. Early in May, the fields are golden with a hint of green, just starting to bloom. But if you wait until the end of May, like we did for these photos, the wheat is fully matured, ready for harvest, and completely golden with no green in sight.

This particular shoot was a blast! The family met me right at sunset, so we avoided the worst of the heat. The wheat was tall and a bit tricky to navigate, but we managed to get some fantastic shots. I was thrilled when Ashley reached out for family photos—she mentioned it had been four years! Her parents live just ten minutes away, so it was a breeze for them to join.

And let me tell you, the kiddos totally stole the show with their adorable smiles, as kids always do. Plus, everyone looked absolutely stunning in their outfits. It was such a fun and memorable session!
