When I rolled up to this house in Phoenix for an in-home newborn lifestyle photoshoot, I was greeted by the loveliest mom and her adorable little boy. He totally stole the spotlight during the photo session. It was adorable because he seemed a bit nervous around his new baby sister, Joann. Every time we asked him to hold her, he’d be like, “Nope…” as if he was afraid he might accidentally break her. Despite that, he was full of expressions and cooperated really well, so we managed to capture some fantastic shots, even if he wasn’t too thrilled about holding his new sibling.

Lifestyle sessions are awesome because they let the other little ones do their thing. So, we played with toys, and he even enjoyed hopping on his moms’ bed. He definitely still felt involved, and for the most part, it was a breeze. And as for little Joann, she was a trooper. Serene and calm, she navigated through this new world she was warmly welcomed into.
