When I was pregnant with my own kids (who are now adults!), maternity photography just wasn’t something people really did. Years later, I remember seeing a social media trend asking moms to “post your baby bump,” and my heart sank a little. I couldn’t find a single photo of me pregnant, and I wish I had taken the time to document it.

Not because I needed a perfectly styled maternity session or a photo where I looked flawless. I just wish I had something that showed me in that season. Something that captured the belly I carried them in, the way I looked while waiting to meet them, and a little piece of who I was before our family changed forever. These nine months go by faster than you think, and one day they’ll feel like a blur. That’s why I believe so deeply in capturing this chapter, so you can look back and remember the anticipation, the love, and the way it felt to carry your baby close.
