Some stories are so beautifully planned they leave your heart full, and this one is no exception! Cameron, a Gilbert, Arizona police officer, had a surprise up his sleeve that turned what his fiancée thought was a family photo session into a memory they’ll treasure forever.
The couple made the drive from San Tan Valley to Lake Pleasant in the Phoenix area, a stunning location that provided the perfect backdrop for what she thought would be just family photos with their adorable 3-year-old daughter, Islarose. Little did she know, Cameron had secretly coordinated the surprise proposal with me.
From the very beginning of our session, Cameron couldn’t wait to ask the love of his life to marry him. He knew he wanted their daughter to be a part of this moment, making it even more special. Watching him get down on one knee, with Islarose by their side, was one of those magical moments that makes being a photographer such a privilege.
The couple met five years ago while working together in California. Fast forward a few years, and their lives shifted focus when Miss Islarose was born. Their journey as parents took center stage, but Cameron knew it was time to take the next step in their love story.
Lake Pleasant was absolutely worth the drive, not only for its serene beauty but also because it gave them a meaningful space to celebrate this new chapter. The proposal went off perfectly, and you could see the love and joy in every moment afterward.
