When I found out Jaydin wanted her senior portraits taken at Tempe Town Lake, with the pedestrian bridge, my heart honestly smiled. A few years back, Memories by Candace photographed her older brother in this very same spot under the soft glow of sunset, with the iconic Tempe Town bridge in the background. There’s something special about returning to the same place with a different story to tell. It felt full circle.

Jaydin is a homeschool senior living out in Apache Junction, and right away I could tell she had such a calm, thoughtful presence. She mentioned she’s usually the one behind the camera. Turns out, she has a passion for landscape photography (which made me light up a bit inside). It’s always fun connecting with another creative.
We started her session with someone very important—her pup! I love when seniors bring their pets because it’s such a fun way to remember this season of life.
